Helping Louisiana’s Seniors with
Care, Patience, and Respect
I’ve worked with clients of all ages throughout my paralegal and notary career, but my heart has always had a special place for our senior community. Seniors are often the ones navigating life’s most important paperwork — and sometimes, that paperwork can feel overwhelming. Through Just Write Paralegal and Notary, I provide compassionate, professional assistance to seniors who need help completing forms, understanding documents, and managing important personal, financial, and healthcare matters with confidence.
How I Help
Every senior’s situation is unique, but the goal is always the same — to make life simpler, clearer, and less stressful.
I assist seniors with:
- Drafting or updating estate planning documents such as Wills, Trusts, Power of Attorney, Living Wills, Donations, Cash Sales, and Successions
- Completing and submitting medical, housing, or insurance forms
- Reading and explaining letters or correspondence they’ve received
- Writing letters or responses on their behalf to agencies, landlords, or healthcare providers
- Reviewing and explaining bills or statements to help them understand charges and prevent mistakes
- Making phone calls on their behalf while in their presence, using speakerphone so they remain informed and involved every step of the way
Whether it’s a small form or a complex legal document, I take the time to ensure everything is accurate, properly completed, and fully understood before it’s signed or sent out
Where We Meet
I meet seniors wherever they’re most comfortable — in their home, at a grown child’s home, at a senior day care or assisted living facility, or even remotely through phone or Zoom. I regularly visit and work with clients through:
- Hansberry Adult Day Care
- Avanti Assisted Living
- Rose House
- Green House
- The Begnaud House
- Lafayette Council on Aging
Every appointment is approached with patience, respect, and understanding. Whether hired directly by the senior or by a family member, my goal is always to help your loved one feel supported and empowered.
More Than Just Paperwork
My work with seniors extends far beyond forms and documents. I volunteer throughout Acadiana, leading bingo games, and teaching chair aerobics and line dancing classes. I coordinate the annual SocksGiving Drive for Seniors, help with holiday parties at Hansberry Adult Day Care, and personally give out birthday gifts to the seniors I work with.
I know my seniors by name, and they know me by heart. I enjoy our long conversations and the wisdom they share. I don’t talk just to pass the time — I talk to remember, so that when we meet again, we can pick up right where we left off.
My commitment is to their well-being, their dignity, and their peace of mind.
Serving the Acadiana Area — and Beyond
I proudly serve the Acadiana region but can also assist seniors and families statewide when they need professional help completing forms or preparing documents. Some services may be offered at a reduced rate or donated at my discretion, based on the individual circumstances. I choose to give my time freely when I feel moved to do so — because caring for our senior community comes first.
A Helping Hand You Can Trust
If you or a loved one needs patient, professional assistance with paperwork, estate planning, or day-to-day document help, I’m here to make it simple and stress-free.
